34 years ago - February 12, 1990 - a plane crashed near the village of Vskhody. As a result of the tragedy, pilot Lieutenant Colonel Nikolai Mikhailovich Glova died. He took the falling plane away from residential buildings at the cost of his own life. An obelisk of N.M. Glova was installed at the site of the tragedy. Every year on this day, students of the Nemerzhanskaya school hold a requiem meeting at the monument, honoring the memory of the hero with a minute of silence.
